Camera EXIF (ISO, shutter, lens, GPS coordinates) is preserved by default during JPEG → JPG conversion when both formats support metadata. Use the privacy option to strip metadata before download if you want to share images without revealing geolocation or capture device.
Default behaviour is 1:1 — your JPG output has the same pixel dimensions as the JPEG source. To resize as part of the conversion, use /resize-image/ before or after this step. Chaining is faster than re-rendering at a new size inside the conversion pipeline.
